The claw must be retracted before removing or switching the plates. So I believe that the thumb wheel that spins on the back must be positioned in the 12 O' clock position. To prevent the claw pin from breaking. It's possible that the Dual gauge projectors only had one claw pin. And that was to accommodate the Regular Standard 8 (Normal 8) and the Super 8 (Single 8) 8mm film.

When I listen to this song, I scream at the cars next to me about their fog lamps being on when there’s no fog but only when I’m in the UK. The rest of the world won’t get it.

I cleaned all contacts with WL spray (Kontakt Chemie) and the buttons worked for several minutes. Then the problem came back.. I suspect the electronics (capacitors) are bad? Any advice could help me, thanks!

There is a chap on Police Interceptors (you can google to find him) that is scarily like Alan, appearance as well as mannerisms. There have been a couple of scenes of him in his car when I was praying for Roachford to come on the radio and him break into character. Even his commentary on his arrests/police work etc are just so Alan. Brilliant!

Thanks for the fact you made an attempt at this so encouraging others to give it a go. What I would say is mine is a CM921 and I found these points: 1. The flap or switch cover does not need to be removed. 2. The back cover comes off really easily if the two slots, inside the battery compartment, are where you unclip the back. 3. I used wooden clothes pegs to put pressure on the screen as opposed to metal clamps which meant they didn't get as hot from the toaster and I could, after heating over the toaster, put additional pressure when removed from the toaster. 4. I had to go through the procedure 4 times before it finally worked - more to do with my concerns over the amount of heat needed. Persevere and you will be rewarded. 5. Watch out with the sliding switch for, off, man, auto, etc. as I found I needed to take the metal contact off the slider and bend the contacts out so they made good contact on reassembly. This may have been because I took it apart so many times. Once again thank you, saved me some money.

I experimented with something like this, but ended up finding that I got better quality by shining the movie on a piece of white cardstock on the wall, and capturing it with a miniDV camcorder. I used a variable-speed movie projector and adjusted the speed until the flicker was minimized. The frosted glass box I tried made the video too bright in the middle and dark on the edges, whereas the cardstock-on-the-wall approach worked well.

hi . I own a Honeywell ST9400C unit. The mode button on the heating side appears to be broken, and I am unable to switch between auto, once, cont, and so on. So far, I've just discovered that this button is broken. I can't tell whether it's a Honeywell issue because only one button isn't working. I'm trying to think of any other possibilities before purchasing one and replacing it. Have you ever had a problem like this with another Honeywell unit? Thank you very much
